  1. you can either use an [image converter library](http://www.rasteredge.com/how-to/csharp-imaging/image-converting/) or use an image apllication to save bmp to png. both methods work great.
  2. this seems like a nice and easy to use [image converter](http://www.rasteredge.com/how-to/vb-net-imaging/image-converting/) that will able to convert image to any other format. just need to know is it free open source?

  7. i think it is great to actually do something, not just like me, only using the best image software without trying to write a [code](http://www.rasteredge.com/how-to/vb-net-imaging/resize-image/) . i suck.
