  1. I'm not sure, I just overwrote it in GIMP. Does it affect it that I changed the color from indexed to RGB?
  2. Hello, I remade the chatbox in Eclipse Worlds. I took the existing image and drew the new chatbox on top of it and saved over the file. I then got an error saying that "one or more files cannot be found" when I replace the new image with the old one it works again. Why am I having this issue? Both files are BMP images so there should be no issue and they are exactly the same size and name. How can I fix this? Thanks,
  3. > This is a bit off topic, but what tileset is that? I'm pretty sure it's not a tileset but a parralax background - I think I stumbled upon it on a forum for RPG Maker VX Ace a while back.
  4. > The paperdoll sheets must be setup just like the sprites sheets. Keep in mind that, as far as I know, if you want the item to appear behind the player then you must pixel it as it was behind the player or else it will just always be showing. > > > > I.E. Items showing when the player is walking forward(north). Ok great, thanks.
  5. Hello everyone! I'm going to be drawing some paperdolls super soon so I need a little information on it. There aren't any examples bundled with the engine so how are they drawn? Is it just the normal RMXP spritesheet of just the item or is it a different method? Thanks, Tashology.
  6. I (she), was eligible for a free copy of VB6 throught Microsoft Dreamspark. Found it on there.
  7. > Agreed. if you have any sites that offer free-to-use renders or vectors let me know, I been looking around but most of the images on the site aren't worth using. I use Clickr for stuff like that, [http://www.clker.com/clipart-clickr.html](http://www.clker.com/clipart-clickr.html) They're not amazing but are free.
  8. Hello, I got a legal copy of VB6 and am having an issue with installing it on my Windows 7 machine. I have tried all of the things mentioned online with no success. I run the setup and then when it gets to "searching for installed components" it just crashes, stops responding and eventually I have to end the process because it's crashed. I get this every single time. Any suggestions? EDIT: After over 4 hours of attempts I have finally got it working - I don't know how but I'm glad I did! Thanks,
  9. That counterstrike map is so beautiful! Dust is my favorite map in any game ever so it's great to see it done in pixel art. I'd love to play a pixel-art version of Counterstrike, that would be amazing. Great job!
  10. Hmm, yeah I tried Orion but it seems to be a little lacking - It's an impressive build but lacks some features and charms of Eclipse. What code converters would you suggest? Or is there another way of LEGALLY getting it for cheap/free? EDIT: Problem solved
  11. Bump with more information: Well, I've once again looked online and found a book that had Microsoft Visual Basic 6 Update Edition with it for a ridiculously cheap price. My new question is: Will VB6: Update Edition allow me to edit eclipse?
  12. > We plan on testing again in June. Why so far away you may ask?. Well I have exams and I don't plan on failing them all but trust me it'll be worth the wait as I have big plans in terms of content and features :) Awesome, I'll make sure I won't be missing this one! :D
  13. This is seriously cool! You've done an awesome job of it. I'd love to give the game a go - just to play about with the clubs and music :D
  14. Hello, I stumbled upon this by accident and I'm super glad I did. The game looks great from the screenshots and I'd love to play it. I'm sad I missed the testing weekend - will there be another any time in the future? Thanks,
  15. Hello, I don't have Visual Basic 6.0, nor do I have any interest in getting it in any way other than legally and considering the only way to get it legally is to pay Microsoft $2000 for an MSDN subscription I won't be getting it any time soon. I do however have Visual Basic 2010, I never got round to upgrading further but it's fine as it is. My question is: is it possible to edit eclipse in Visual Basic 2010, or even convert it so it works with VB2010? I'm getting frustrated of not being able to edit the game engine to have the features I would like so I'd like to get a final answer so I can stop searching the internet for the same "run VB6 in VB2010" phrase over and over in different words. I have a suspicion of the answer already so if that is a no, is there a way I can legally get a copy without having to pay Microsoft $2000? Thanks,
