  6. let me give my advice as to how to get quick and easy paperdoll items: By Murdoc 1\. Go to [http://charas-project.net/](http://charas-project.net/) (Charas online char creator) 2\. Select Charset 3\. dont choose a body, leave that empty 4\. select an item of clothing (armor, helmet etc.) 5\. Save file 6\. Download the Deux Exe Machina "Sprite Converter" to convert RPGmaker sprites such as Charas sprites. ~~I have the file on my site at [http://www.touchofdeathproductions.com/spriteconverter.exe](http://www.touchofdeathproductions.com/spriteconverter.exe)~~. Open the file with sprite converter. This will change it to the proper size for the engine. 8\. Use Adobe Photoshop or another Paint Program to make the background the transparency color of the template being used. 9\. Now you can just create a character with a body and hair or whatever that would be the sprite and repeat the above steps for conversion. That's pretty much it. Although these would look a little better with 32x64 size, you can always resize the sprites on top of the template by making the bg color transparent with say Photshop erase specific color tool, resizing the chars to the max height, then placing on the template by copying it. This can be done easily in a good paint program. Anyway, I tried this out with the Eclipse 4.5 Engine just recently released. Like I say if you prefer larger sprites, you can just resize them with the above info. Peace! Ok, after you have used the charas generator at the above url, you save the file as .png (i'm not sure if jpeg works). Now, "Load" the file with the spriteconverter.exe. Note * the spriteconverter.exe must be in a folder (which is how it orginally came) for the images to save properly. Just name the folder "spriteconverter" and put the spriteconverter.exe inside the folder. That should have been noted earlier, but i actualy didn't try the spriteconverter.exe outside the folder to know that it wouldn't work. Anyway, it should look something like this when you load your ".png" file from Charas: ![](http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e382/Murdoc420/spriteconverter1.png) Now, we want to "Save" and it will automatically save as "spriteconverterimage.bmp" (spriteconverterimage1.bmp, etc) just outside the folder path. Next step is editing the image now that we have our bitmap image. I used Adobe Photoshop, but another good paint program would work too. There are lots of free ones online, so just google it if you dont have one yet. I open up the images i need which are 1\. the template (in this case i used the default "items.bmp" in the GFX folder of Eclipse(v4.5). 2\. the image that you saved with spriteconverter. Here's an example: ![](http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e382/Murdoc420/photoshop2.png) You may notice i drew an arrow pointing to the "eyedropper tool" (which copies colors) to the color on the items.bmp. just get the color from the orginal template (in this case its black r 0 g 0 b 0) because the first pixel in the template is this color, thus it is our transparency. Next we want to paint that color over the green that charas used for a background. Like so, ![](http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e382/Murdoc420/photoshop3.png) *Make sure the paint tool is set on "contiguous" if using photoshop, so the paint doesn't end up bleeding into the sprite. And because the bg transparency is the same black as the one on the spriteconverter image, we dont' need to paint those sections (the black lines in between the green blocks behind the char). Now, we just need to copy that image to the item template: ![](http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e382/Murdoc420/photoshop4.png) Use the select tool to select all the spriteconverter image. Then drag that picture right onto the item.bmp. You'll notice i have a grid set on the item.bmp. the grid settings for a perfect 32x32 grid (in case you want to "snap to grid" like i did) is 32 spacing. thats pretty simple. It should end up looking like this. I put the image in the spot where the wings were, but you could always just start on the line after the purple suit or whatever. in which case you would put the item that will be on the ground in the spot next to the purple suit at the very top. baron's tutorial on the paperdoll shows this in more detail. Now you just have to flatten the image, and save the items.bmp. Follow the same steps to get the sprites you want (there are tons at the charas generator site). Only you'll put these into the sprites.bmp instead of items.bmp. Wahla! Any questions, ill be glad to help!

    This is a really fun game. You are a little space ship zooming around killing colored balls which explode and color the background. it sounds queer but it is really fricken fun. It eventaully gets insane.   22. I need some beta testers to try and find all the bugs they can in the new verison. Beta testers will get a copy of the CLIENT ONLY. Then will connect to my server and try to find all the bugs they can.. need 5 :P

    New Version

    Ok, So some things have changed. For the new update i was going to use some elysium code that is known to be very buggy. Though the bugs would be fixed alot of poeple woulds till get runetime error's Like now. ALSO the server could have only run on Window's XP Machines. So as it is currently standing i have scrapped that version and gone back to a source Known as Deloria. I will be adding updates to this and releasing it instead of the buggier version. This mean's: Some Feature's that you currently no may not be there. Other Feature's Will be There that werent there Before. Will run on ALL Versions of window's. SHOULD GET WAY WAY WAY LESS RUNETIME ERROR'S THAT CURRENTLY OR THAT THE UPDATE WOULD HAVE BRUNG. If you do not like this fact that i have switched Source Code's. I dont really care. i offer this program for free. So you may stick with a older version if you wish. This decisision is not 100% made yet. But is more likely than the alternative. It will Be Released when i decided it is stable enough. So dont pester me. Its not going to make it get released any faster.
