    A logo i made.

    That isn't a logo, it's just text with blending options. A logo should be unique, recognizable from a distance, and also recognizable when it's only 1 or 2 colors.

The tileset includes most of the outdoor environments you will need, however there are not building sets or sprites. That is all.

    That's not the actual GUI, it's only a map. Whenever I find the time to, I'll actually create it. Another thing is that it isn't a very big deal because the player's fingers cover the GUI anyway.

And attack is swiping your finger for swords and drawing a line towards the enemy for the bow. (The button with the bow and arrow, when pressed, switches your weapon to the sword).
  13. It's actually quite nice! (If you add the img tag, your image will show up) I would get rid of your inner shadow that is the perimeter of the ui. I'd also make the drop shadows a bit smaller on everything else. The larger the drop shadow, the less of a clarity effect it will have. (which is the point of drop shadows in the first place!)

Especially when you aren't even the artist in the first place. Obviously if you read what I wrote, you would have noticed that I was talking about lighting. Not texture.
  15. Outline was decent, but the shading was pretty sloppy. You need to define a texture with the tree. You also need to define a light source and stick to it. Right now it's textured, but it's pillow shaded. It's also very noisy. There shouldn't be a single pixel that isn't connected to another pixel. Any one that is will cause white noise and make the tree look sloppy.     GUI Practice

    The pixels on that 2x zoom are blurry. If you are using photoshop, load the pixel art on a normal canvas. Go to image > Image size. Then double the size of the image. Then change the box that should normally say "Bicubic" to "Nearest Neighbor". Enter. Now your pixels are 2 pixels large! Yaya. Another thing is that the gold/yellow you are using changes throughout the GUI. Try to keep this color the same everywhere it appears. There's that same inconsistancy with the black 3px stroke that you have on the Shop type. Also that inner glow is a bit too harsh in my opinion. You could lower the opacity on that a tad. Nice work! Oh and never use Bevel/Emboss on anything other than text. Just don't.

    Here's an edit. You need to avoid pillow shading. Texture is something very important, especially when dealing with hair. Colors should have much more contrast. The most important thing is that you need to work on the color ramp. Colors when they become darker never stay the exact same hue. For example, a blade of grass has blu-er shadow shades and yellow-er highlight shades. If you need me to explain this to you more, just let me know. Anyway, here's that edit. ![](http://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff440/t_redmer/edit1.gif) As far as anatomy, don't stress it. Especially when working with a sprite of this size. However, you still must use basics. Hands reach almost half way down the thigh. Also, if you move the arms out the way you did, the legs need to follow. When you are creating eyes, solid black lines will not work. The eyes in this type of sprite are what defines its style. Another thing is that the face was not shaded darker near the hair, which killed the depth. I hope this all doesn't sound harsh, you are off to a great start! [edit] I forgot the biggest issue! The shoulder were realllyyy high in your sprite. Which made him look tense and nervous. I lowered them almost a whole 2 pixels.
