  1. I'm in for sure, Terraria's one of my favorite games ![:D](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons//biggrin.png)
  2. I heard these were in an older version of Eclipse and I was wondering if anyone still had them.
  3. Yes, I have; I think the problem isn't that it runs slow on other computers, it's that it runs fast on mine; my brother and I have the same laptop.
  4. The problem is not with the connection, it's with the client; on one computer it runs much faster than all the others.
  5. I retested, and it's not a problem with the server client on the same computer at all, sorry for the confusion. On one computer, the client runs faster than on the other computer, and this causes the fast client to be able to cause the player to move faster than players on the slower client.
  6. No, as in the game physically runs slower; it's not a problem with lag. Everything happens slower (for example, the movement from one tile to another takes 2 seconds instead of 1).
  7. Does anyone else have this problem? On my brother's computer the movement speed is hella slow, while on mine the character moves fine.
  8. Does a such procedure exist? For example, if I have a loop that runs on a timer, is there a way to delay the start of the next cycle until another condition is met?
  9. Anyone? ![:(](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons//sad.png)
  10. Haha, I didn't even notice the link was broken. Thanks! @TheNorthHarrier: Who are you, exactly? I can guess, but I'd rather not have a guess be wrong.
  11. This summer, I went to a camp where I learned how to use Xcode. So I made a game. [http://itunes.apple….98902?ls=1&mt=8](http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/spikes/id551498902?ls=1&mt=8) or, if you don't want to click on the link… "In this graphically simplistic arcade game, colorblind and telekinetic hedgehog Spike sets out on a valiant quest to rid the world of color… starting by destroying balloons! Roll Spike across the screen and aid him as he launches a variety of projectiles towards floating balloons. Choose between different costumes, each with their own special effect. Launch spikes, hurl lightning bolts, shoot cannonballs, throw bladed stars... the choice is yours. Just pop the balloons." It's not free, but there is a free version in progress; I just have to fix some things first. Of course, if you were to buy it, that would be great ![:)](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons//smile.png) Comments, questions, ideas?
  12. You want instant gratification? Try Game Maker. It may seem childish, but it's a great way to get hooked on programming; I started with it in early 4th grade, and from there I gained the patience to rip apart Eclipse and get a feel of basically how everything works. Then I got into Xcode/Objective-C and started programming iPhone apps. Even today, I still use it sometimes when I need to test a theory, considering I know it much better than I know any other programming language.
