Hello, how do I start? I introduce myself. I am CircleDrain a PixelArtist and I always wanted to make online game like Harvest Moon. I have a bit too much time and can work for one more Project. So now I gonna explain what I exactly want to do. This Game shouldnt be a Clone of Harvest Moon. It is different. **Story** The Story is pretty simple. You wanted to go on vacation to an island but your Ship is going to be destroyed. You are stranded to an unknown Island. Well the citizen dont like you but they allow you to live in a remote old farm. But you have to renew it. They think it is something totally impossible. But you have no other choice left. You need to renew the farm and live for awhile in this farm. **Farm** The farm is chaotic. Everything is full fo stones and weed. So to renew your farm you need to start to clean the farm. That is the first part of the game. You have to get money somehow and buy utensils or build ones. The second part will be to plant Fruits and vegetables. After that get your first animals, machines, vehicles and new buildings. So you have a lot to do. **Village** The citizen dont like so you need to get known and that they like you. You have to make gifts, need to make taks and answer correctly. But why do this? Well they are sceptic about you, if they start to like you, you can buy new items, give you new items and help you with everything you need. **Restaurant** If you have enough money you can buy a restaurant in the Village. You can earn pretty fast money and learn a lot of cooking. If you have a Restaurant you can join cook contest and get special rewards. **Dungeon** Yes there is more pvp besides the cook contests. You need rare resources to make better untensils and better buildings. You just get it in Dungeons. There are 2 types of dungeons. First against Npcs in your own Island and second only PVP. The pvp dungeons are other islands so you need first a ship to get there. **Trading** You can trade with other players. It is important because maybe some player have some rewards for special fruits that you dont have. Or have things with better quality. **The Goal** Normally MMOs dont have a real goal but I tried to make one. First of all I wanted to release all this what I mentioned that will be enough to play. But I thought about a update after that to have more rpg elements in it. But thats something I want to decide with the team then. **Questions** To be honest I have some questions. First is all this possible with the eclipse? And second ( I always worked with the rpg maker) I know nothing about server and whatever. Do I need a server? **What I am looking for** Scripter Mapper Spriter ( if we find one, its okay if not I dont care) The Scripter I think has to be really skilled and hopefully I will find one. Without him this project isnt possible. If we need a server a donator would be really awsome. So what the people get. Well not only credits. I would work for your project aswell and I never would give you just credits. You are a part of the team and this is not Dyprax game with 3 others. It is our game  **My Skills** PixelArt. I Am 21 years old.At the moment I'm doing small jobs until I start my studies. I used to organize some tournaments in online games. A few weeks ago I had the idea that I have to make a great Olympics for 2D game developers. What are you Imagine? Normal Contest, there are some, but what about when you combine them into an Olympics with many "small" contests? To create a Game you have to make one small step after another. Each of those small steps can be made into one big competetion. Each of the small steps will be individually assessed and finally you count all phase together and you have the total score. What about a theme ? Yes, the Olympics have a big issue: **Crime**. All phases have to revolve around the issue of crime. How many phases and for what is a phase? There are 6 phases to get points . Now I will explain the 6 phases (all informations about time and points you will get in the forum): 1st Phase Protagonist Task: Your task is to create a Main Char for a crime themed Game. You have to create him in written form and graphically. For the Graphic form I just want a Face. Well draw it by yourself or use graphics that already exist ( Please credit them). For drawing a Face you can get extra points if it is good 2nd Phase Screenshot Task: In the second phase, you have to make a screenshot, which deals with the subject of crime and the protagonist from the first phase. 3rd Phase Feature Task: The third phase will be a little more difficult, you have to create a feature for a murder mystery game. As example a notebook, an opinion meter for every NPC or just other features. 4th Phase Story Task: The fourth task is writing a story that involves the protagonist. And the scene of the screen should be recognizable. The difficulty is to write the story interesting for the reader and not to reveal too much so that he would play this story as a game. 5th Phase Minigame Task: Your task is to create a minigame that matchs your Story.As example to get something out of the fire and watch out that you will not hurt by the flames. 6.Phase Game Task: Your final task. All previous phases are combined into a game that is supposed to have at least 15 minutes playing time.
