  1. @quinton: > It's no where near as much work as splitting 9k items by hand, that would take days lol 0.0 > I might of not been very clear about what i did–--I copied each of the*vertical* columns and pasted them into their own file, then used the program to split them into individual horizontal columns. So it only took 30min... > The program does splitting by itself also, it doesn't help with the work, it does the work :P > > I'm not good at explaining things ,so i might have not been clear on what i did :embarrassed: > This is why I hate questions in school that say to explain your thinking.... > Also i noticed that the items don't show up when on the ground too, I've been testing my game and it seemed like the monsters weren't dropping the items, but they were just invisible, can figure out why though :/ yea i hated that 2.. but it sounds like the same as my method.. which is to open a file that is just green/black, then go down my list, select the item and paste it twice onto the sheet, save, undo twice, and repeat, just save as a different file name o,o it basically sounds like what you did is open each file, turn the bg green, stretch it to x2 size, make the other bg black, and copypasta the image from the green side o,o which really sounds like a few extra steps lol idk o,o is your ground on a layer above the items or something? or are you using green items that dont show because of the green bg or something?
  2. @quinton: > No paint.net doesn't do it by itself, i just used a select tool to split it into 15 columns, then i used the eye dropper and got the right green/back and colored the background, then used robins splitting program to split them into separate 1x2 rows. that sounds like as much work as doing it without a program Dx lol
  3. @quinton: > Your Welcome :cheesy: > > I used paint.net, i don't like using exact shades in MS paint, can't make very detailed things so, i use the closest thing to MS paint 0.0…here the link if you want to check it out, its sort of a improved version of MS paint--http://www.getpaint.net/ nu, i meant the program that split the items, but i found it o,o or can paint.net automatically make 2 of them and color in the proper bgs? o,o cuz i noticed it didnt do that for u
  4. lol thats fine o,o i didnt really think about that, im 2 used 2 using MS paint (
  5. o,o you didnt use a grey bg at any point? the flail, i noticed, has a shade of grey missing, but only on the in-inventory image, the image that appears on the ground still has that color o,o

    Advanced Classes

were you thinking of a solid line, like basic class > advanced, or did you want each class able to advance into multiple advanced ones? dont know how to word it well..

    Advanced Classes

im an idiot, but it looks 2 me like what it does is automatically change your class once you reach the specified level? if so, that seems quite strange for an advanced class system, although it is a pretty simple way to do it o,o
  8. i noticed o,o the first 10-20 or so looked done by hand and the rest looked like it was done by a program o,o but the program erased a bunch of the white and grey from items D= so it looks like i'll be painting a bunch of white and grey xD

    Skin tone

i did have a sprite, for example, i had a male sprite with one skin color, and a female sprite with another, and i did eventually match them up my opening both of them and using the eyedropper tool to copy the colors from one, and then use a pencil to put them where they worked, but copying the color and using a hue layer resulted in little to nothing

    Skin tone

I've noticed when attempting to change the skin tones of my sprites (so as not to look racist), i can't just do my standard method of recoloring (gimp, new layer, hue, spam pretty colors) and have had to individually color each pixel. again. basically, is there an easier method of recoloring skin tones?
  11. i love you. i have been spending 3 days putting a sheet with about half these items into eo format.
