Run it with 127.0.0.1 as IP As port, run whatever port your server is running with, most likely 4000\. by this, the client is connecting to localhost (127.0.0.1) and you will be able to connect to a server running in the same machines. Now, if you want others to play from other machines and the server running in yours, you should follow what Ultra said earlier.

if hes connecting from his computer, he wont need portforwarding. use 127.0.0.1 as ur IP.

EE is extremely outdated, and isnt developed anymore. EO is very nice, has less bugs, better features, there is still support, it uses coding, its faster, there are quite lot of coding tutorials for it and its till being developed.

First, u using Eclipse Stable of Eclipse Origins… or (i hope not) Eclipse Evolution? If it is ES then just press f1 for the admin panel, same in EE. if in EO, then press insert or type /admin in the chat. if u want others to play, make a .rar package, upload and give link.

@Zero you can just actually close the map editor and the Map Editor will then load the current map, meaning you dont have to go through all that. :)

he hasnt installed the library files properly. it used to happen to a friend, he fixed it by doing that :)
