  1. @Admiral: > My point is that the potential of finding the software cheap on eBay exists XD I don't like you.. I was replying to Robin who said finding software on internet… etc., etc. And now we're here. :azn: Also, how does your local shop/ w/e help me? Unfortunatly I have to admit I would mark that post as 'Epic' if possible. :cheesy:

Warning - while you were reading a new reply has been posted. You may wish to review your post. Oh, that's the other thread.. I said that guy made it, I didn't say there was one there. Lol, you eitehr need to learn & try.. Or wait. To the quote: Soul, I believe Eclipse, and some others **have** tried.
  5. @antho3000: > it will be nice if eclipse can suport summons example > summon a skeleton to help youin a battle Lol.. @antho3000: > I never played that game but it feels bad when good game creators have to leave their masterpieces @Ambard: > Thanks to some help it looks like Ambardia will stay up. If you've never played it, how can you be sure he's a good game creator(Answers involving this thread will not be accepted. :azn:)?
  8. @Robin: > Trying to find software on the internet is like trying finding an apple is a barrel of apples; Piss easy. Let me rephrase that. Finding a legal/free/cheap copy of VB6 could be hard. Warning - while you were typing a new reply has been posted. You may wish to review your post. @IceCream: > http://www.asus.com/entryflash.htm > > That should help. Is it not loading or was that a joke..?
  9. @Gohan: > @Robin: > > > Game development is hard. Unless you're willing to put some effort into learning new stuff then it's not going to get anywhere. > > True. I plan on learning to do the programming eventually. I just don't have enough free time to learn it right now. School ends in three weeks though, I'll learn then. Or you could get rich by _______ and pay people :azn: I think the hardest part is gunna be getting VB6.. For me anyways..
  10. @Robin: > Depends on which copy of Eclipse you're using. If you're using EE or ES you'll need a computer around 10x more powerful than if you were using Origins. You really like to compare your engine and make it feel some much better, don't you? :P On-Topic: I believe mine is 2GB and 160 HD aswell, although no cam and worse with games, most likely why the price was 'cheap'. I'll have to start looking for a better one and let you guys know what I come up with.
  11. @Gohan: > @JamesTown: > > > Mine was 360ish tax - 450-500\. Goodluck. > > I have ways of getting really good deals, price isn't really a problem here. I just wanna know f there was a good laptop for Eclipse, because I plan on running my game on it. I also have some other games so I need a laptop specifically made for gaming or a laptop really good for gaming. Gaming & Eclipse are different. Mostly any new computer should be able to run it. While WoW, Cabal, Runescape… Alot more memory, graphics, etc. And if all you're planning to do with it is Eclipse, don't get it. I think a desktop is much better, especially for hosting. And the fact that making anything off of such games is slim... You could alwasy go to the store buy one, and come back and say you don't like it within 14 days. XD
  12. @Gohan: > @IceCream: > > > Eclipse isn't really demanding, you could probably run it on a net-book. > > Also.. I recommend giving us your budget. > > From there we could give you a good variance of laptops. > > $300, $350 Mine was 360ish tax - 450-500\. Goodluck.

@DDunit: > Can you precise who and how helped, so that we may thank him accordingly? Possibly he changed his mind due to all the comments(He asked for help here: http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,59775.msg632451/topicseen.html#new) ?
  14. @IceCream: > Eclipse isn't really demanding, you could probably run it on a net-book. > Also.. I recommend giving us your budget. > From there we could give you a good variance of laptops. You can run games like runescape(I just remembered, I can play Cabal on this computer, though.) on a netbook, too. :azn:
  15. @Gohan: > I'm getting a new laptop. Any gamer's laptops anyone wants to recommend? Or a laptop great for running Eclipse? I have a compaq presario cq60-211dx notebook pc. There are many newer versions of it now, with Windows 7, etc. But the one I have isn't too great just running something like Runescape, however, it's perfect for Eclipse/XtremeWorlds, etc. if that's all you need it for.
