  1. @Soul: > 1\. PVO does it wrong. Just because something isn't up to your standards doesn't mean it's wrong. It works, so it was done right. Maybe not in the best way admittedly but it is the best way to do it that has been released.
  2. Finally someone is making one of these! I'm sure this will be a must-have once it's done ;D

  4. Even with Light Armor, your speed should decrease. But then again games never do seem to make any logical sense…
  5. @hoozy: > Is there any way to add more frames for animations? What I mean by this is, there are usually three frames per direction: Move, stand, attack. However, as I have walkfix enabled, the attack frame is now the same as my third walking frame. > > So my quesetion is, is there a way to add more frames? As in 3 frames for walking plus an extra one for attacking? And if this is possible, maybe even 5-frame walking animations, or multiple framed attack animations? Is this possible? > > Thanks in advance! Changing frame count is a default feature is PVO. If your making a sidescroller just use that. If your not, download PVO, and study how Miguu did it in the source code and do the same in EO, minus the jumping/landing part.

  7. A bit difficult to see all the details because your name is in the way.

    Factions in EO

EO has a faction system now? :O
  9. @crzyone9584: > lol somebody doesnt like you lol That narrows it down XD
  10. @DshWinchester: > I get from sprite database > game: Naruto Shippuden: Ninjutsu Zenkai! Cha-Crash! You said you were making sprites not ripping them.
  11. @☻Valon☻: > @Gohan: > > > Use PV EO instead. That will fix all your problems. > > But.. But.. Using EO means I have to learn to VB :'( You'll have to learn to VB if you stay on PV ES as well.
  12. @thezeus: > This sounds awesome, but I don't get it. Explain. An emulator duplicates the functions of one system using a different system, so that the second system behaves like the first system. This emulator will play GBC/GBA games on your PC, and it supports using a forwarded port over the internet as the Game Boy's Link Cable for multiplayer/trades on several games, but not all of them. VBALink 1.72 is a piece of shit however, because it is very slow and does not support wireless internet connection, only LAN. Get 1.8. EDIT: Nice necro man :icon_nif:
  13. @dreadhead: > Hey Miguu, quick couple of questions… > > I know I am being a stickler for not jumping on the bandwagon and switching to eclipse origins, but I feel that I have been exposed to EE for so long that ES is just my comfort zone. > > Anyway, my question is that "are you completly finished everything you worked on for PVS?" What I mean by that is have you fixed all the bugs that you found, and is there any chance that some day you may use some of the PVO updates you did for PVS? (such as the amount of frames for walking, etc.) > > I know I can use your old script for using the spells to make good attack animations, but I was curious if you were planning on giving PVS more walking frames, etc. > > Also, I noticed how people using PVO were having problems with more than a few people joining their games. I was just wondering if this was an issue with PVS as well? > > All aside, as I have said before, this is a great mod to the engine! Congrats of your achievement Miguu!!! I think you already know the answer man. Everything is for EO nowadays. The only people left are the "sticklers" like yourself who don't realize that ES and EE have a system 100x harder and with more problems than EO. It's not a bandwagon, it's fact. With EE/ES systems once you get decent traffic, the server won't let people on after a day or so of being up and you'll have to reset daily. EO doesn't have that problem. ES source code is such a mess that things you can change in EO with 1 line could require a complete system overhaul in ES. EO has better graphics, even more so in Project Vertigo Origins. ES has that scripting system which may seem cool at first but it really is just slow takes up space. Origins is a much smaller download and your players will thank you for that. Eventually everyone is going to start ignoring any questions about EE/ES and just say "get eo" and you'll never get any help. At that point you'll have to get out of your comfort zone anyways. Just switch to Project Vertigo Origins before you actually have people playing your game. If you don't you'll get a lot of complaints from your players. If Miguu is actually still messing with PV ES then I will be truly shocked.
  14. Use PV EO instead. That will fix all your problems.
  15. Use Origins. It senses sprite sizes automatically. I've had sprites as big as 160x160 working, and there's no doubt in my mind that it can handle bigger.
  16. That's just plain weird
  17. @Robin: > @DrNova: > > > I didnt. > > Thank God. Finally someone who's over 13 and not high on sherbet. You can get high on sherbet?
  18. It looks like it could be useful… if someone could get their hands on the source and make a wider selection of sprites. There isn't a whole lot of options on there and clearly not enough for the types of dynamic sprites you can put on Project Vertigo
  19. Rofl it's like one of those cheap arcade games. When your score gets too high it flips back to zero XD

  21. @Black★Gold: > Woah I haven't played in awhile. Looks like you all passed me in leveling lol. > Add LegendWeaver (Unless you're |Vengeance| ._.( Actually I've passed you 3 times… You should really get on more. 2 days and the servers go down.
