Everybody relax. Last I checked, this was the job hunting forum, not the critiquing forum. If you don't like his art, leave it to yourself and don't post because you're not looking for his help, **which is what this forum is for**. Besides which, most of you didn't even critique his art, you just insulted or flamed him _and_ his thread.

I like the newest version a lot! Imo, you could leave it as it is, but adding pokemon like in the first version would be neat.

I don't want to see Eclipse go 3D. EVER. What drew me to this community was the fact that it's all about 2D gaming, the best way to experience mmo's imo. It would ruin the vibe and the general feel of what we have going here if a 3D version of the engine was offered. 2D is the best and I love things just the way they are here. Keep doin' what you're doin' Eclipse devs!

Wow guys, no need to be so harsh. He's looking for some extra cash and he is charging a very low price. The sites don't really look that good though and as I mentioned before, the markup language (it's not code, fyi) is pretty outdated. I recommend learning and studying some more before trying to make money from designing sites but you do what you gotta do. The bashing and hateful language isn't very cool though. Why not just lay things out and explain things kindly? I'm still learning too but it's fun isn't it? Keep it up and keep learning; you'll be making the big bucks in no time! =]

Try making a different tile for each, ehh, element, such as water, sand, etc. All you did was change the color, which leaves things kind of bland.

It's really cool of you to offer your services at such a low price but when looking at your source, the techniques used are kind of outdated or of bad form. At least you don't use tables though… Good luck on your job hunt. =]

Not only are you supporting the games yourself, you are advertising and promoting them while using your own graphics, art, and custom engine. I just don't get it. I won't burn out. I'm made of steel. You can just call me superman. xD I'll be renting a dorm on campus, but I don't want to be home for summer, hence the reason I want to take summer classes. I'd prefer to graduate in 3 years as opposed to a job anyways. They're both stressful and add a lot of work but I am passionate about this and I feel I can do it. If it DOES turn out to be too stressful, I can always change my mind and move at a normal pace. I really appreciate the advice though; I'll keep it in consideration and it makes me happy to know someone cares. Lol, that's really corny, but true. ^.^

I just signed up for the Academy of Arts in San Francisco, and I'm hoping to major in game design and minor in web design. I'm super stoked and wanted to share with some people. Very funny Thorn, I was going to do the same thing and drop the subject matter (for the reasons you mentioned, although I do not believe these were _your_ true intentions) after I utterly and comprehensively discredited your arguments one last time. Personally, I don't have a problem with him. My favorite radio station plays "Baby" and "Eenie Meenie" by him and I think his voice is fine; just because he has a high voice doesn't mean anything. I'm 16 years old and I have an extremely high voice that I get from my dad and I sing just as high, if not higher than him and I'm a guy as well. I, personally, think he's pretty cute too. I think all the guys that don't like him are just jealous that he has millions of girls around the world in love with him. Do you? I don't think so. He knows who Germans are, when he was _in Germany_ for that interview, the interviewer had an extreme accent and Bieber couldn't understand what he was saying. As for walking into the glass door, things like that happens to people all of the time; though I'm not to say it's not funny. Their embarrassing moments just aren't publicized because they're not famous and don't have paparazzi all over them 24/7. As for you believing that he is getting "freaky with girls," he is just making music videos for songs that mean something to him, and there is absolutely nothing inappropriate about what he does, unlike what many other videos depict. He likes girls, as do most other _16_ year old boys in the world and he sings about 'em. Just 'cause he has a high voice doesn't mean anything. And that's pretty obvious because many millions of people enjoy his music, and I can personally vouch for that. Why make a topic about a singer you don't like?
