Hey guys Basically i'm having some real issues making a perfect system for movement. I can do all the coding fine, i'm just having problems with the logic/theory… Basically this is how i want it to work: -User presses buttons, moves the character on screen and sends packets to the server How will i coordinate the movement? Will there be a timer when the user presses the button detecting how long and then send packets accordingly? If so then how will other clients move the character which moved? I can't remember how i did it in vb couple years ago.. thanks guys

Centrioles. I couldn't find more than 5 paragraphs which were different on wikipedia and my textbooks! Have to hand in tomorrow.. In my group we all have diff tasks. For now i only have the centriole page up (half-completed lul) but soon i will add a proper index page, CMS and the like. I plan to have around 15 different organelles on the site and a biology thesaurus up. The competition is for high schools and the theme is always boring old "what we learned". •All attacks have a range, eg a barbarians move "cleave" (trying not to rip diablo off too much..) would have a range of 20 units (probably pixels) which would be translated into 1 yard. •No targets are set, a spell would go directly in front of the character in a line (or depending on the spell) and damage the first target in its way (depending on spell.. could hit multiples) •Energy bar (100%) - effects running/walking like diablo but would recharge 1% per second walking and 3% per second stationary. Also effects melee moves. Spellcasters will use this as well. The name won't be "energy" for every class though, spellcasters it will be either "mana", "spirit" or "charge" I want it to be a very skill-based game where you don't count on gear to be the best - gear is a result of being the best.

I have and it wasn't as easy as you think. Took me a few minutes, and i'm a lot smarter than you.

You visit a webpage with .php extension The server processes the PHP code and receives HTML output The HTML output is sent to your browser like a regular .html or .htm webpage. PHP is significantly different to HTML and Javascript and CSS etc because it is a server-side language - completely uneffected by the browser.

Hey there guys I'm making a chibi version of diablo in Java Well, actually the only thing similar between my game and diablo will be the combat styles and loot etc :) Discuss, flame, talk about how it's not going to work, whatever But if you're a great breeze editor then PM me with some edit examples. Breeze will be the base.
