Run-time error '-2005530516 (8876086c)': Automation error

This occurs when I run the client from EO 3.0\. I searched the help topics and tried the solutions they gave (such as updating drivers and redownloading the runtime files thrice), to no avail.

There's a select case thing in the initialization process that doesn't work as it should do. Try debugging it and remove the case that gives you the issue. It's a silly way to fix it yes, and doesn't always work for everyone. We really need to fix that sub :P

Weird thing that occurs, I run the eclipse origins exe the error pops up. I run it from the VB project it's ok. Should i just turn the VB project into an exe and replace the current exe?

Yes, do that and if the problem persists post back.

I do believe that is because the IDE catches the error somehow.. There's a few more funny things like this, for example some Out Of Memory errors will not occur inside the IDE, and some will ONLY occur inside the IDE.

Edit > Use Full Editor > Add 'Resolved' to tags > Check 'Use first tag as title' > Save. You can't lock though, but I'll do it for you.
