Hey guys it's me, Sacra!!![;)](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png)

**Long part**

Maybe some of you know the game I am working on (prospekt online)

I think it's pretty good and we have about 4-5 players online (each evening).

But to use features like big arenas or guild system it would be nicer if there were some more players.

So what I finally wanted to ask you:

**(Read here if youre in a hurry)

Do you guys have any ideas how to advertise a game?**

My ideas: YouTube, indiedb,etc

PS: sry if this text is a bit long:DD

You aren't helping him at all, and most of your comments should be either posted onto his thread in Eclipse Projects, or as a personal message.

The way i advertise my game is through online social sites, or by friends. For example, i show my friend my game, and if he likes it he shows his friend. You don't get too many players that way, but i'm not looking for a massive fanbase. As for online social sites, try Facebook, or any forum. Youtube in theory is a good way, but don't expect too many players that way. Hope that helps! ![:)](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png)

In respect towards what the other people have said, advertising for a game so that you can have a community is fine, but its almost pointless if you can't keep that community. If its as buggy as you say, i'd recommend having a fairly stable engine **first** before seriously advertising. If you advertise first, then fix the engine, then advertise again, chances are the players who played before won't be interested.
