Resources files types question

So i have downloaded some sprites but i have no idea how to put them ingame

first problem i found they are in png and my game only see bitmaps

i attached one to use as an example

Nah you in the right section, that imagine is a png? you just have to put the picture into your client side data/graphics/resources folder. If you have any questions or issues feel free to ask.

its a casting animation does it still have to be put in the resources folder? yes its a png file

i put it in when i go to the animation admin tab it dosent show up

Did you number it? Make it a bmp if ur engine supports only BMP's. Open with paint -> save as name.bmp

Put in animations folder and it should appear. And also welcome to the forums.

well i did that but there is one more problem the animation runs left to right so the top animation plays at the same time as the bottom of that one

it reads as if the three vertical frames were the same and it makes 3 diferents effects

how do i make it reading left to right and when it reaches the righte it goes down and left to right again?
