Items with background - error.

I have a problem with item's background.When it is black,white etc. , in game it is white/ black too!I want make an item with no background in game.

How i can do it?

I'm assuming you mean in the inventory screen using a dx7 engine? I'm afraid there's no way to change that those engines. The more recent ones (EO3.0 and derivatives) do have this functionality though.

I'm using the newest version of eclipse advanced.There is dx8 engine.

Ah, in this case make sure your items are saved as *.png and have transparent backgrounds! D3D8 no longer picks a color to be transparent, but rather uses the Alpha value of the surface.

I have a .png format, but i can't make a transparent backgrounds!Can you(or someone) tell how i can do it?

Most decent image editors (not paint, but say Gimp or Paint.NET) allow you to simply remove the background by selecting it and deleting it.

Thanks,it works perfectly , but i want to convert all of my 1227 items .I don't want to edit them one by one :/.Maybe someone have a items convertor or something?
