DMF Posted February 3, 2013 Author Share Posted February 3, 2013 oks i been bored and playing with EO 2.3.when i set the size of picscreen toH 460W 644(below values were gotten by ex:" X / 32 - 1 ")MAX_MAPX = 19.125MAX_MAPY = 13.375when i load to the menu its fine when i login it crashs windows theme aero to basic…eo plain does not t do this. and i tried an idea see if it was the picscreen size. and when i tired values onto a clean eo 2.3\. same thing windows theme aero crash to basic.does anyone have an idea?? bintin Posted February 3, 2013 Share Posted February 3, 2013 I had this problem, I went on my old laptop with a different edition of windows and it worked perfecto, It's something to do with windows 7, I think the way to fix it is to install a new OS (yes I know this sounds painful, but I spent days trying to work out why it wouldn't work with windows 7 and the only way I could find a solution was by using a different OS) don't worry it's not your fault it's microsofts, I suggest getting windows XP or update windows 7 to service pack 1 if you have not already ( thats one solution I never tried)Edit: just re-read what you said and you say that it crashes with one engine but not the other, my new solution is to update direct x Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
