Sprite question?

when a player is joining the game can there be like a script or something for the player to create his character?(i mean like choose the characters body,head,head color,sex, stuff like that and if there is nothing like this can someone pleasy tell me how put so that players can chose a sprite for them to play with cause i can only have  c one sprite to chose from when i create a new acount) :P
