FAN BASED GAME

[Dark Crusade]

After Krusade Online, I am considering making a fan-based game, which will have simular locations, characters, music, weapons, etc and the 'feel' of a popular game. Some of the games i have considering doing a fan based game on include the following.

Legend of Zelda
Neverwinter Nights (dungeons and dragons)
The Elders Scrolls
Diablo
Resident Evil

You can suggest other games for me to consider making a fan sequal to, but I won't make it if i am not very familiar with the game.

Also, what are your opinions on fan-based games? What suggestions do you have regarding the games i am considering making fan sequals on?
