Server Compile Error

When I try to compile the server.exe it gives me an error… I just want to change the amount of people aloud online at one time.

Install the runtimes properly and grab a new copy of the server source.

Public Const MAX_PLAYERS As Long = 70

chage 70 to any other number you want

then try compile

also do that to client side it need to be same number

click Project Tab then click References

it should open litl window whit list….. this one?

hmm then try re instal runtimes files

instal agen runtime files on your main hardisk (where is installed windows)

try compile any other engeine….

Yes if you downloaded the portable version then it will not work. Are there any errors when you first open the server source?

1\. Missing Microsoft common controls or the mscomctl.ocx file you can try download it manually and place it in your syswow64 directory or in the same folder as the server.

2\. Have UAC enabled and is blocking access to it.

3\. Try running the run times as an administrator and restarting the pc.

4\. Run the source in compatibility mode Windows XP

How do I disable UAC?

Click start in the search bar type UAC hit enter it will open the window just scroll the bar all the way down and hit ok.
