What to do about my game?

Im in a pinch ppl won't help me with my naruto game unless they see its atually going somewhere which means i need to beta test it. But my problem is i need a scriptor cause my scripting sucks and i cant beta test till theres something to actually do in the game. but to get ppl i need a game. to get the game i need ppl. So should i just beta test now with just maps basically done…i just need some advice is ther any? :(

(btw learning scriping was plan A and that plan is not going the greatest. so i need a plan B)
