Tileset transparency problem~ Fixed~

Can anyone help me? I am using a custom tileset that is all pokemon tiles. My problem? You should have guessed that I cannot make the black behind the tile transparent. the black is EVEN Grn=0, red=0, blu=0\. Just plain black. I don't understand why the mapeditor doesn't enterpret the true black as the transparent color even if the tilesets are USEING true black. Can somebody explain how to make the tile I want to mask on top (like for instance, the tiles don't actually mask. There is black behind the tile, not the tile under it.) instead of having the tile I want to use practically replace the one underneath it?
