Level Up Problem

Ok, im getting a problem whenever my player levels up. I kill a bunch of stuff and it'll show the level up animation, but my lvl by the name doesnt change, it doesnt put me as next higher level on character menu, and I dont get any points to spend. I really do need help with this, because leveling up is a huge part of the game (not surprising). Right now my expeirence is like 1393/5 so, thats another problem  :oops: . Please help  :neutral:
