onedivinehammer
I downloaded and unzipped to desktop Eclipse 2.7, the library files, and the batch file to register the dlls.Ran and installed library files.Dragged batch file to client data folder and ran it.And I'm STILL getting errors on client startup reading:Error reading from config.ini, re-creating file.Error loading colors.txtand RTE 339 for VBMP.ocx.I'm running XP.? Homicidal Monkey
vbmp.ocx is an object associated to sound in Eclipse. Be sure that its registered and I think it has to be in the same directory as the clientand be sure that the folder permission is set to read/write

Acedi
If you have windows XP (not vista) and you're experiencing this problem even if you have all the correct files and you've registered them there is NO known solution to that problem. I have it on 1 of my computers, one of my IRL friend has it and i've read dozens of topics about the same problem. You should try using old version of eclipse (1.0 debugged) because it seems to work for everyone. Luckily EE 2.8 will NOT use VBMP.ocx anymore so that will fix the problem in the future.
Rhemsis
It sounds like you have the same problem I had. I assume you downloaded all the above files from the Eclipse homepage, as I did. My fix came by downloading libraryfiles-1.exe from[http://files.filefront.com/libraryfiles+1exe/;5301165;/fileinfo.html](http://files.filefront.com/libraryfiles+1exe/;5301165;/fileinfo.html)I installed those and voila! I was running Eclipse. Hope this fix works for you too.
