Randomly generated named/magic items and/or monsters

Now, this may take too much code and have too many problems, but I've tried using scripts (didn't work) and making a new item/monster for every different combination of "icy" and "of healing" (took way too much time, and slowed the server down), but I'd have to say that having items with randomly generated modifiers, like for say in… Diablo or... pretty well most of the rpg's these days, would be awesome.

And it wouldn't just work for items, you could have randomly generated named monsters too, that will appear rarely and be much more powerful, but didn't have to be an end-of-the-dungeon boss.

Now I can see this making the engine really complicated, but I'm sure someone here can think of a way to make it work.

i think hes talking about like in Wc3 and Diablo wow etc
you have a base item like a dagger with say 20dps and +5 strength
then has a random enchant attached like
+ 4 intel and it adds "of the wisard" to the end
or another random with
+4 agility which adds "of the cunning" or something like that
