Select Character Sprite!

Hello guys. If i want to do a way that the player can select the sprite to his/her character… what i have to do on the source... if someone have a kind of tutorial (don't need to be a complete tutorial of that) but something likely this, so i can have a introduction and finish it by myself

just add an hscroll bar

then click on the bar twice

then get the sprite display function in the same form and alter it a little so it reads the value of the hscollbar
