drmv33
Is it possible to change the Map Editor Grid to 16*16?Because I'm trying to remake Pokemon LG, but the thing is, I have 16*16 character sprites but not 16*16 tiles and buildings, instead I've got much bigger ones I've found on the EE forum.. drmv33
I'm guessing this will most likely be like my other topic, It gets answered in around 3-4 months after I bump it.
Anna Comnena
You need to edit the source. It'd be easier to just expand the sprites to 32x32 and run it like that.
Sevg
There are only 32x32 and 32x64 at the moment. If you want to change that you'll need to edit the source code (VB6 needed).Otherwise you can pay someone to edit it.
drmv33
Oh.. What program (excluding PhotoShop) would I be able to use to expand the sprites to 32x32?
Anna Comnena
Gimp, Paint, Irfanview, pretty much anything.
drmv33
Paint tends to.. Make things look crappy with the selection box expander..
Anna Comnena
Most things do. That's the problem with blowing up images. And when it will look nice, that means different anti-aliasing and compression methods were probably used, and makes it worthless for pixel art, since you'll have tons of artifacts and blended pixels on your edges that need to be clean. drmv33
Lets say I did have VB6, would it be hard to edit the Source and make the Map Edit grid 16*16?

drmv33
Can't find Mod Constants, in either Server or the Client folder with the source..
drmv33
I just checked every VB6 file that has mod in it and searched "image" in everyone and all of the results said not found.
AdrianC
As far as I know, that will only stretch your images. It won't make a 16by16 grid.
