jna
Its not from 400 to 4000 its from 4000 to 4000\. From 400 to 4000 you will open 3600 ports and you will be able to be hacked easily.

DJMaxus
Here's what I've done:Port forward the following, if they were already forwarded, no need to mess with them.4000-4005723410000Configure your server data to use the "7234" port instead of 4000\. Go to IPChicken, or WhatismyIP, and get your IP Address. Config your game client's IP to Your IP, and the port to 7234\. If this doesn't work, try the other ports you've opened, saving 4000 for the last resort.
Xavi
lol DJMaxus, you have been helping people left and right, and you've done it in only a few posts. Impressive.Anyway, why have 4000 be last resort? 4000 works fine for me.

(At least to my knowledge) If another device or source is using it, Eclipse won't be able to connect, this is sometimes the case. I had this error when my MySQL server was using port 4000 and I tried to connect with Eclipse.
vinayak
ok this might be because I fiddled with my server too much but is it normal that you server has your computer's ip as part of the title and port?
