When you have the server up he will be able to connect, if your behind a router I would recommend looking at a few tutorials in port fowarding. Nubbs Posted February 17, 2009 Share Posted February 17, 2009 i cant remember where the tutorial for No-ip is but thats the EASIEST way to do it IMHO thats how i do it… search around for no-ip tutorial and follow the steps especially if you dont want to just give your ip address out (even though he/she is your friend) it works flawlessly and helps protect your ip.... not saying it isnt possible to hack through but it'll make someone work harder to do it then just handing them your ip :) no-ip FTW!
