Still worth making a game in EE 2.7?

Hey all, I'm making a game in EE2.7
But im not that far.
So is it still worth making my game in EE2.7?
or is it better to wait for EE 3.0?

Continue making your game. In 3.0, the 2.7 maps are compatible!

We love 2.7\. Ambardia is one of the funest worlds we have ever created with over 800 fully developed maps and over 30 quests and 15 skills. We may move into 3.0 but I don't think we will ever close our 2.7 server just for the classic play it has.

Placing the maps is one thing,
but the server? I use some scripts in my main (I'm not a scripter myself) like a quest system, a tut system,…) Will i be able to place those over too?

For scripts there will be some changes but you'll mostly have to use Find & Replace e.g. () will now be {}

I think the () will be the same, but instead of:
If blah = 3 Then
…
End If
It would be more like:
If (blah == 3)
{
…
}
Instead
