Paperdoll problem

Gahh >,> I am stumped, using the EO 4.0 grid I put the item I want to paperdoll on top of the character right, then should I erase the  character after paperdoll placement? I am running into two different types of problems 1) My character shows up a pink square with the weapon in game 2) if I leave the character on the grid with the paperdoll item placement it then changes my character in game..  Example: I have a custom created character from the character selection screen when I make my character in game,  so if I use the naked character from the character/bodies folder it then changes my current character to a naked character…. Follow me?  I haven't  paperdolled in so long....

Have you edited the items in any way? Sounds like the transparency is off too me :/

1) Download paint.net and use the magic wand. (Click on the pink color with the magic wand and press delete.)

2)  I don't get it..

its designed for layered editors like photoshop gimp etc so you can hide the layers and just hide the character and grid and save a png or whatever eo4 uses

but yeah delete everything except the item

use full edit on the first post

On the panel you will see a black/white staff(if this is the right word). Click on it and press left mouseclick on the pink color. Then click delete.

Save it and the pink sqaure is gone.
