I need a auto updater that works in internet  NOT LAN inter net like run a server on desktop but Or  some one give me a website host that does this http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/Updater/ CLICK THE LINK TO UNDER STAND WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT! http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/Updater/

Yes that does work but the problom is How to get it to work i tried ftp but when i try going to www.wobgame.host22.com/update it gives me a error… can you give me a different website host that does exactly this http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/Updater/

Just making sure, you did create a "update" directory right?  It's not just it's just going to appear for you, you have to use an FTP client and make it yourself.

If you have already made a "update" sub-folder, and it's not working, it would seem logical that your hosting company doesn't have a stable FTP system.

yes i have a file update client ill post pictures right now and u made a update folder in here in public/html

Try putting an index.htm file in that update folder.

If it's not working though (as in, not letting you browser the machine's empty folder), the solution may lie in you stopping using 000webhost, and using a professional hosting company that supports FTP-transfer correctly.

For instance, the one Marsh is using, this entire website is being hosted on a private machine owned by Dreamhost company; that's why you see a "folder" listing files, when you connect to his "Updater" folder.

NONE OF THESE are LAN updaters and if ya use uuuq.com,
i know it works, i have done it, just upload your files using a ftp client,
there is a tut on the zymic forums
