Robin Posted June 10, 2009 Share Posted June 10, 2009 All those tutorial are ancient. Sean and I created that backup that you linked to simply for legacy values. From what I can see, people from Eclipse who've tried adding in those old tutorials have had nothing but trouble. I've had two people PMing me about the Pet system, which never worked in the first place, and a few more people asking me why their source isn't working after trying to add various systems.There's a few decent systems there, but not the way they're programmed. Personally, I only use the backups for ideas for systems, then just program them up from scratch. If you look around, you can probably see that the general programming standard there is about the same as Sean's (Some of the tutorials are his), and that's the main problem with the current versions of Eclipse.My advice: Take all those tutorials for ideas, sure. But re-work them to go in _your_ source. Mirage is no different from Eclipse in that user discretion is always needed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
