Owen F
So basically i was trying to make a rank system, where it makes an INI for all the characters and get's variables from them later. (i plan on releasing this, but im making it for tipsta's TBSG thing). And i was like :icon_crap: when i wanted it to make an INI for the players. I'm unsure how, when each character is created, it will write an INI or at least a variable included in their stats example Test_Stats.iniI was thinking PutVar at first but that only sets the variable..doesn't it?:huh:Can anyone help? :P
damian666
a putvar will also create the ini mate…it creates the var, if the ini exists or not, if not, hell, it will write it for ya ^^Damian666
Anna Comnena
It should be able to create the INIs, but the only limitation is the directory needs to already exist. But I haven't used sadscript in depth since 2.5 so I don't know if PutVar is flaky or not anymore.Oh and yeah you need PutVar to put the data into the INI file. ;)

damian666
yeah, its true, only folder structure has to exists, but you could even write a command to do that for ya though…Damian666
