**Downloading ELI**

**Introduction.**

Hello, I'm Stephan J.R. van Schaik, also known as Godlord, Goddie, etc. In this tutorial I will show you how to download ELI from the official site and from any of the mirrors.

**Before downloading.**

Be sure you have 7-Zip installed. How to install 7-Zip is explained [here](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,50051.0.html).

**Acquiring ELI.**

You can get ELI [here](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,28696.0.html), there are various links to chose from.

The thread should look like this:

**Downloading ELI from the official site.**

I recommend you to download ELI from any of the mirrors instead of downloading it from the official site.

Just click on the link called 'ELI Beta 2 (EXE)' and a dialog like this will appear:

Just click on 'Save File' or 'OK' or whatever appears for you. Your browser will then download the file.

After the download go to the folder containing the file:

Click on any of the links below 'Mirrors:'.

Select 'Save File' and press on 'OK'. Wait until the download has finished.

Right-click the file you downloaded, select '7-Zip' and click on 'Extract Here'.

Now you should have the executable like shown below.

**Installing ELI.**
