Exidium
Hey guys, I'm new here. Me and a friend are working on a game using v. 2.7The server is on his side and it's down for right now, while I'm waiting for him to get back I was working with my own client and server and was trying to apply what I read about scripting from theyellowmole.I was in the main.txt trying to write my first script for stepping on a tile wich would then call up a series of messages to the player.Anyway to my knowledge I didn't get the script to work, so I decided to delete the section I wrote out of it.I did so and saved the main.txt and now I can't open my server without getting this error.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ServerError loadig the scripted engine.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Run-time error '91'Object variable or With block variable not set.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~What could this be referring to? Do I need another main.txt and start fresh?
Admiral Refuge
You may have messed something up in the main.txt; grab a default one, and replace your old with the new one (backup the old one first). Also, you may want to use some more updated scripting tutorials; the scripting system has changed quite abit since theyellowmole's tutorials.
