ihelios
Hey guys,I want to make a VB.NET application that connects to the Eclipse database to display GLobal messages. How can I do this? What kind of server does Eclipse Run?
Skaterboy991
Eclipse is made in Vb6 so just get a Vb6 editor, download the eclipse source, and you will need to figure out how it sends and receives it's packets. (and I usually use system.net.Sockets.TcpListener/TcpClient)

ihelios
Ok I got the part of the TCP server, but how would I get my VB.NET app to interact with it. For example, I want my application to send a global msg from the VB.NET app.
