1\. Well, Eclipse Stable is Eclipse 2.7 with alot of bugs fixed
2\. No, you cannot
3\. Yes, it does

Further note: If you have/are willing to get Visual Basic 6 and learn a little bit of it, then get [Eclipse Origins](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,57637.msg609741.html#msg609741) which is GREAT, but if not, then get Eclipse Stable
