Resource Layer Level?

I am going through doing some mapping and setting up some resources and I was wondering once I place the resource on the map. What layer does the sprite appear on.

I was looking through the code and could not find anything leading to a fringe or mask layer on the resources… And the resources are messing with some of my mapping.

It doesn't lead to any layer.  It draws it like a sprite.  I believe it is on the same layer as sprites, and since EO uses y-based rendering, it will always appear above anything behind it.  So Fringe layers will appear above it, but mask will appear below it.

Hmmm when ever I put a resource, like a tree, infront of my wall. It deletes the wall but shows the tree…the wall is set o fringe1\. I will try and see what happens with the wall when its fringe2\.
