However, when I put something like a tent, the Masking colour doesnt appear transparent, it appears black. Does anyone know why? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Jeff Posted March 14, 2011 Share Posted March 14, 2011 is the masking color black in the image? Also, the masking color is transparent only as long as the top left pixel is also the masking color. Irhymer Posted March 14, 2011 Share Posted March 14, 2011 Its because your placing the tile down as a ground layer. Change the option to **Mask** (above ground),**Mask2**(above Mask/Ground),**Fringe** (Above Masks/Ground Player)or **Fringe2**(Above everything) in the layer panel (right side).Ground layers automatically make the transparent color black, so only use it for base grass/dirt ect.
