Stuck installing VB6

whenever i start installing VB6 everything goes fine untill i get to the saving part i guess or like when you choose a place to save it into. when i get to there it says "the specified location is invalid please choose another" i went through almost all my files and it still wont save anywhere i also created several new files and it still wont work. please help

You don't need VB6 to use Eclipse. It's possible to install scripts without VB6 and it's also possible to view source code without it, I don't think it's possible to compile it though.

As far as your VB problem, go to the Microsoft website and find the download, when it askes you to 'save' or 'run' choose run, this runs the installation program. Leave everything at defaults and the installer will (slowly) install a bunch of crap, most of which you don't even need, onto your computer. Trust me I know they did that to me with MSVC++ they'll do it for VB too.

Follow the official guide on installing VB6.
