I've recently got hooked on this.

1\. It's on Steam.
2\. It's just gone free.
3\. You have to pay for the advanced single-player missions; however, you grab more cards by purchasing them with gold, which you earn through victorious battles. So really, you don't need to "Pay" for anything for multiplayer gameplay.

You can work up a deck, but you get eight starter packs when you go through the tutorial battles with them, which are basic kill-and-capture battles to test out the pack's capabilities.

I could do with some friends to play this with. I'm ever so lonely killing the AI, even as challenging as it is.

If anything, its the beautiful art and simple usability that I love about the game.

Goal of the game:
Kill the enemy tower, OR kill all the enemy troops.

* You can deploy magic, equipment and new units by the use of your "Nora" points, which is like magic.
* You gain more magic at the start of every new turn; capturing Nora Fonts give you more Nora per turn.
* Some units can give you Nora, such as Dwarf Miners and Frozen Waste's Beast of Burden.

* You deploy troops by dragging the card onto land you control, around your tower or around a font.
* Units replenish and build up AP, Action Points, each turn (The highest I've seen, after two turns, is 11 AP).
* AP is spent on movement, attacks and magic that the troop casts.

I got into a pretty messy/intense battle earlier today, the "Swarm" level… This is the battlefield after I had destroyed half of their units;

Nevermind, I just discovered the scam. I knew it was too good to be true.

To make your own custom deck of cards, you need at least 30 cards to play with a deck. You need to purchase your own cards with gold, which i'm cool with.

However, the card I just bought cost 300 Gold… It can takes 3-9 battles to earn that much.

At that rate, on average... 6*30\. 180 battles. For one deck... and that's if you're going with basic cards, and not the actually interesting cards.

HOWEVER, THERE IS A WAY AROUND THIS.

Purchase a whole deck you can customize freely, for SC in the marketplace!
