You have to go to the item you want, such as picInventory, like you said, and click properties, then go to picture… and click then select the picture you want to be displayed, and it will show it in VB6. You'd have to render them directly or move them off of picScreen. (Hint: look at how the inventory, party, etc. menus are displayed on top of picScreen.)
