Asgarith Posted July 5, 2012 Author Share Posted July 5, 2012 i swear this is my last post in a while, now that thats said, i can continue, i have all my computer alredy running, the xfx radeon hd 6870's fan is spinning but when i plug the DVI to VGA connector to the card, then the VGA to VGA to the monitor, nothing is displayed. my card has 2 DVI and 1 HDMI and i only got a VGA cable so i use the adapter to the card, is this wrong?I hope that the adapter is the broken thing, since idk if in my country i have warranty, im going to check that now, its like 4 days old but is the first time i plug it in. Now im using the VGA to the motherboard in order to get a display but idk, i have the 6870s driver installed and im really freaking out, i hope its not 210 bucks to the trashcan.Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
renzo Posted July 5, 2012 Share Posted July 5, 2012 Have you installed the drivers for the video card?Also, does your video card have 2 separate DVI ports? If so then your probably plugging into the secondary port which is intended for the second monitor which needs to be turned on in your display settings which is why it would be giving you a blank screen.
