  1. You might have got the format of the files you added wrong, if you replace a part of the GUI that was previously a .JPG file with a .PNG file it will not work without modifications to the code.

    Got notified about this game in my daily Code Project email, LockerGnome also did a video on this game. It's a browser based MMORPG, however it requires no plugins or Java installation, it is also open source: https://github.com/mozilla/BrowserQuest so feel free to make your own version of the game.

    As far as being a fully fledged MMO it simply isn't, all you can do in the game is get better armour and swords while getting random achievements, no levels or quests.

    However what it does show are the good capabilities of HTML5, Javascript and WebSocket for creating a dynamic and real time MMORPG that can be played on a wide variety of browsers, even on your iPhone, iPad or Android device.
