i had the same problems, your friend needs to rightclick then properties servers.exe and set compatible mode to xp. Then it will works ;)

it is easier to make maps then cause you have a full overview on the map. and i tried making fullscreen buth at vb6 there are no anchor points where the textboxes etc can't attach to so if i make it fullscreen for 1024 * 768 somebody which has 1280 * 1024 will have everything in the left corner and not in the middle of the center.

i know that, buth i'm making a program which login by reading the ini files, then you select a character and then you have options depending on the access level of the chosen character. so i need to read it somehow.

Hi there, I'm trying to find where the access for an character is stored, i looked into the datafile buth it's not there. I'm using version 2.7, i also checked source code and points me to the datafile. Hope somebody know's this answer

i have the exact same server with the exact same npc's and locally i can attack and remote i can't, port 4000 is forwarded tho. Npc's are not friendly I'm using the ctrl button to attack The npc's has at least 1 for each skill I have 1 at each skill I have a weapon

Hello, I'm trying to get the server work on windows server 2003, now i got it running buth people can't attack npc's etc and when access 0 it logs out the player. When i have the same server running localhost at vista i don't have those problems above. Hope somebody can help me.

i have nothing scripted i tried downloading it from http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/ee.php then the above one. Just started it, making new account set access to 5 make nps with all stats 1 like in above posts then edit map put npc in then tried to attack didn't work.

you mean by people buying items on your website with paypal and then your script verifiy's the payment and then put the item in your bank or inventory ?

if i set my access level higher then 0 there's no problem buth when i set my access level to 0 i get this. So it can't be an connection problem

Everytimes a player with access level 0 joines after a while sometimes 2 min sometimes 1 min they get a message they have been log out, The server isn't set to admin only and the server isn't closed.

How about the game that is fullscreen with a fullscreen login etc, Also a zoom in/out when in map edit mode could be usefull
