  1. Fair enough. I just really like the idea of an avatar picture popping up when you speak to them, thats really cool. There are a lot of free resources on the net for that too.
  2. Are you cut & pasting your badass super cool NPC avatar speech system too? Or is that going to be exclusive for your game?
  3. Sound of Farming Equipme–- Ok this has gotten a bit messed up..
  4. @|Icarus|: > Still haven't lost. :P Oh comon, you need to smoke another or something then man..

  8. Can someone explain what this new credit system thing is all about?
  9. It is hard to tell the difference between the male and female. However, I think you did a good job for your first attempt. Practice will make you even better so keep at it. Try doing it again from scratch now, and also try to use a bit more shading (palettes) and not just hard colors. I noticed you sort of did this with the hair so good on you. ;)
  10. The same blurry pattern but just different colors might be hard on your users eyes… Especially if there is an entire grassy map area made of these. Just keep that in mind.
  11. Why not render the HP bar vertical, beside the sprite. It works quite well in many other games.
  12. Just wondering if anyone has tested if the combat system has been updated? For example, what each stat does by default before editing?
  13. The development is very zippity-do-da, so thank you Robin. I look forward to checking back here multiple times daily just to get the latest news. Can't wait for that milestone release! Keep it up :cheesy:
  14. Robin, do you anticipate maps we create in 1.0.3 will be compatible in what you are conjuring up for your new and improved map for the next release? Can you give me a tip of the hat if I should perhaps wait a bit before any serious mapping and maybe focus on other aspects in the meantime? The engine is brilliant by the way… Its simplicity is beautiful, and to add to that the speed of which you are developing it... and lastly the features you add. You seem to hit everything on the head. No jazzy flashy (but useless or rarely used) features -- just things we all seem to need, its fantastic. Please continue the trend of success. Regards
  15. Bahah, wow. Well thank you for the reply. And the best part is, I can't count either. I meant the 4th map. =D I really like the tileset from the 3rd map as well, and I have tried compiling a more complete version of it, but I found it difficult to find varience and alternate trees to use. And without that, forests/mountains look so cookie cutter with only one or two trees to use. Anyone have a resource to the 4th map? And thanks again admiral and the rest.
