Oh i get it, I haven't made .exe's before with vb. If you wouldn't mind explaining the steps needed to make a client/server .exe using the source, I would be most grateful.

Alright, thanks I think I have a better understanding of how it works with that part. Another thing I was wondering was how the source would affect the client and server when changed. I have been doing some of my own custom work but I still dont have the understanding of how the source affects the client and server. Also I downloaded the source from the site and worked with that a bit. How would I make it affect a client and server in a different folder? would I copy and paste the source folder over? Thank you for your time and assistance.

Looking at some scripts people have made and tutorials to install them I dont seem to understand some of the language used. Since im still fairly new to eclipse I hope you guys can clear a few things up for me. In a scripting tutorial when someone says add this into Sub "some name" what do they mean by that? I had more questions just kind of forgotten as I wrote this post. Soon as I remember ill be sure to post them here.

So i would basically use a different ip then the one on ip chicken to connect to my server but others would use the ip on ip chicken?

Hello, is there a way to change the server ip? because the ip that shows up on IP Chicken for me is different than the ip the server files seems to be using.

So anyone know how to change the ip for the server?

Now my ip on IP Chicken is different. So I changed it in the client and it wont work. Don't I have to change the ip somewhere in the server files to? I cant remember if I do or not because its been a while since I did all that basic stuff. The ip that shows in the menu name of the server when its running is different from my IP Chicken one so that needs to be changed. I just dont quite remember how…

Hello, alright there is something strange going on. I got client working just fine with vista pc at my place. Then my buddy took his vista pc home and tried it at home without changing anything and it would not connect to the server which my computer is running. Any computer using my internet connects to the server fine but soon as its not my internet it wont connect to the server. The ports are forwarded and no firewalls up. Any suggestions on what to do?

Yeh if the ip that shows up is not exactly like the one on IP-Chicken then it wont work.
