find someone who could make me some custom sprites and tilesheets? I did stick up a request in Lunar Eclipse, but no responses. If anyone knows a good place to go and have someone make them for you, be cool if you'd share that info with me. Thanks a lot! Unfortunately, I'm not a gifted artist and can not make my own and have them look halfway decent.

This is my application on Facebook. Just under 4k monthly players right now. I don't quite understand why its hard for you all to understand that I simply don't want many more people playing right now. I'd prefer to get this new 2D MMO done and have a great game for my players, instead of having more join this one. The first app I've ever made, and its decent for a first time I suppose. I'd still like to see this hole I keep digging, but for some reason I can't see it anywhere. Go figure.

As I said, I'll post the game here when the new one is done (which would be a lot faster if I could find someone to make me some sprites and tile sheets, or if I had the skill to make them on my own). Then, you make your decision on whether it exists or not. Until then, you don't have the proof to show it doesn't exist.

I'll give you a hint to find my game. Its "initials". if you will, are TPCV. First one is "The". And I don't mind posting a link to it once the new game is finished. Its replacing the old one. Also, if you were thinking this game makes enough to live off of, your well off. They are donations, and the money is being used on software (and now custom sprites and tile sheets) to help with creating a new app.

I managed to obtain a copy of VB6… So, in order to be able to make a little money off of a game created with Eclipse in the future, I know I need to change the scripts and get my own graphics (sprites, tilesheets, etc) for the game. What all needs to be changed though? Is it just the scripts and graphics that need to be changed? Is everything else clear to use or are there other things that should be changed?

Also, I get that the scripts have to be customized, sprites, tilesheets, what have you… Just taking a glance through the files, all I really found was the main.txt file for a script. (been looking through the forum and there are a ton of posts with extra scripts and new ones, but i didn't find much of anything on finding the ones already existent.) What all exactly has to be changed? File names, variables? And is there a topic anywhere that might help me out with learning about the script? Looks simple (a lot like C). ** Nvm, I had minimized a category so I didn't see a few of the boards. Found some useful stuff now. Now if I can get my hands on VB6, I'll get this thing moving.

I didn't mean $100 for the cd and an additional for the license. And I would have downloaded it, but on dialup… :). Plus, the download keys become inactive 24 hours after the delivery is sent i believe.

The game is mine. I made it. "Velian" helped with the concept, but he also has his own game. I don't want others playing it currently, and I'd rather not have the 4k+ people playing it right now that do. If I wanted more, I'd advertise it. I don't have time to finish the game right now (college gah), I don't like the way the game works currently and I want to recreate it as a 2D MMO to give my players the best experience and the best game possible. Last thing I need is more people disappointed in the fact that the original application it isn't finished. (By the way, if you ever develop a Facebook application, finish it entirely before releasing. Bad mistake on my part. Life gets in the way pretty quick.) The "donations" I get from the game help to pay for software like the new photoshop and dreamweaver (at one point, I bought Realm Crafter wanting to create a 3D world for the game. $100 per cd and license. Never got delivered.) The money is now going to go towards having a ton of sprites and whatever else I need made to customize this fully. Guess I need to get learning how the script works. I learned PHP in a month (real big accomplishment…), this should be nothing (but again, I haven't looked at much of anything).
