i have set up a spell and it works but only if it is on area of effect, and when it's not it says that i am too far away from the target. any1 know how to fix it?

Hi i am using eclipse evolution and i am having issues with two things. 1) i can't get my game to work on another computer and yes i've read the tutorials so idk just tell me what to do (again) and i also want to know how to add magic, i have a spell and it has an animation and the requirements are set low enuf i need to know how to make it work. thanks in advance
